The Run - (Why 2’977 kms?)

There were a total of 2,977 victims. The victims were distributed as follows: 227 on the four planes (from which there were no survivors), 2,606 in New York City in the towers and on the ground, and 125 at the Pentagon. All the deaths in the attacks were civilians except for 55 military personnel killed in the attack on the Pentagon.

Among the 2,752 victims who died in the attacks on the World Trade Center were 343 firefighters and 60 police officers from New York City and the Port Authority.

10 Years since the tragic events, Australian Fire fighters and Police are planning to Run to Remember these innocent victims.
